Automating routine: what a program can take over

If someone repeats the same steps from instructions every day, a program can almost always do them. Export a report from one service and load it into another, check competitors' prices, rename and sort files, gather requests from several mailboxes into one spreadsheet.

We start by asking how much time the task takes now and what happens if it is done wrong. That decides whether a simple script on a schedule will do, or you need a program with a log, retries and failure alerts.

Scrapers and data collection

A scraper collects data from websites, exports and documents and brings it into one shape. We check upfront whether the source allows such collection, whether it has an official API and how often it changes its pages, because that decides how often the scraper will need rework.

We put the result where it is easy to work with: a spreadsheet, a database or your service through its API. If the source is down for a while, the program retries and tells you, rather than quietly leaving an empty report.

Desktop programs for your team

When managers or accountants use a tool, a command line will not do. We build a program with a window, buttons and clear error messages, package an installer and write a short guide.

The program keeps its settings and service passwords in the system's secure storage, not in a text file next to itself.

License keys for your own software

If you sell your own program or plugin, keys stop one purchase from turning into ten installs. We set up licensing the same way it works for our own products: the buyer gets a key right after payment, the program activates it on a specific device, and the server signs its answer so it cannot be forged.

Reliability: a log, retries and alerts

A program that runs unattended must report problems by itself. We write a log that shows what it did and when, retry failed requests after a pause, and send an email or Telegram alert about a failure that did not clear by itself.

A rerun must not create duplicates: if the program stopped halfway, it continues where it left off rather than copying the same requests into the spreadsheet a second time.

A script can run on your computer, on your server or in a cloud of your choice. We hand over the code and a guide to running it and, if needed, set up a schedule and failure alerts. The data the program works with stays with you.

How much custom software costs

The price depends on the number of sources and scenarios, whether an interface is needed and how reliable it has to be. A small script often fits into one stage; a program with an interface and licensing we price after a few follow-up questions.

In the estimate each stage has its own price and timeline. You pay only for the stage we are about to start and accept the result with one click in your account. The rights to the code pass to you on acceptance.
