WordPress plugins built for your task

We write WordPress and WooCommerce plugins for when ready-made ones do almost what you need, but not quite. A new plugin from scratch or changes to one already on your site: first an estimate with the price and timeline of every stage, then the work.

What we do for WordPress

  • A plugin from scratch

Your own logic that the plugin directory does not have: calculations, forms, integrations, separate pages in the admin panel.

  • Changes to an existing plugin

We add what is missing so that an update of the original plugin does not wipe your changes.

  • Links to your services

WooCommerce orders in your CRM and spreadsheets, Telegram notifications, exchange with your accounting system.

When you need your own WordPress plugin

The WordPress directory has tens of thousands of plugins, and for common tasks a ready-made one is the better choice. Your own plugin is needed when the ready-made ones solve half the task: the form cannot do the calculation you need, the store needs a special delivery method, data must go to your CRM, and the settings should make sense to a manager, not a programmer.

Another common reason is a set of five plugins, each doing a small piece of the job. They conflict with each other, slow the site down and break one by one after updates. One plugin written for the task is usually easier to maintain.

Customizing a plugin without losing updates

Editing someone else's plugin files directly does not work: the first update brings the old code back. So we put the changes into a separate add-on plugin that hooks into the original through its actions and filters. The original plugin updates as usual, and your logic stays in place.

If the original plugin has no extension points for what you need, we say so before the estimate and suggest options: write a replacement, talk to the author, or pin the version.

WooCommerce plugins

WooCommerce stores most often need their own pricing and discount rules, shipping calculations, extra order fields, order export to other systems and notifications for managers. All of that is done in a plugin, without editing the theme, so a store redesign does not break the logic.

For a large store we think about speed upfront: heavy calculations and exchange with outside systems run in the background, not at the moment the buyer presses “Place order”. Checkout stays quick even when the CRM answers slowly.

  • Your own rules for prices, discounts and the minimum order
  • Extra fields in the order and in the emails to the buyer
  • Order export to a CRM, a spreadsheet or an accounting system
  • Telegram notifications about new orders

How we write plugins

The plugin follows WordPress rules: it escapes output, checks capabilities and the nonce on every action, does not load its scripts on pages that do not need them, and cleans up its data if you delete it. Its settings live on a separate admin page with clear labels.

Before handover we test the plugin on a copy of your site, with your theme and your plugins, not on a clean install. That way conflicts turn up before your customers see them.

Keeping the plugin and your site secure

A plugin runs with your site's privileges, so a bug in it can expose the database or the admin panel. We check user capabilities on every action, never store third-party service keys in plain text and send data from your site nowhere except the services you named in the task.

The code has no hidden links, ads or “phone home” calls. The whole code is open to you: you can show it to another developer or review it yourself.

How much a WordPress plugin costs

The price depends on how much logic the plugin has, which services it connects to and whether it needs its own admin page. A small change often fits into one stage; a plugin with integrations we price after a few follow-up questions.

In the estimate each stage has its own price and timeline. You pay only for the stage we are about to start and accept the result with one click in your account.

What to send us for an estimate

Describe what should happen on the site and add a link to it. If it is about changing a plugin, name the plugin and your WordPress version. Admin access will be needed later: please create a separate account for us rather than share your own.

After handover we stay in touch about the plugin: you can ask about it in the order chat, and a new feature goes under its own estimate, stage by stage as before.

Custom development

We build websites, plugins, bots, software and integrations. You know the price of every stage upfront and only pay for the one we are about to start.

Frequently asked questions

Didn't find your answer? Write to support@mtb-digital.tech. We reply from 10:00 to 20:00 Moscow time (UTC+3), every day.

Will the plugin stop working after a WordPress update?

We follow WordPress rules and never touch the core, so regular updates do not get in the plugin's way. If a major update changes something, we adapt the plugin under a new estimate (Terms of Sale, clause 4.10).

Who owns the plugin code?

You do. The exclusive right to the code written for you passes to you once the stage is accepted (Terms of Sale, clause 4.7).

Can you change a plugin I bought from another author?

Most often yes, through the plugin's own actions and filters. If its license forbids changes or it has no extension points for what you need, we tell you before the estimate.

Do you need access to my site?

A copy of the site is enough for development; access to the live site is needed only for installation. Create a separate account for us with limited rights and change the password once the work is done.

Do you work with other platforms?

Yes. We write plugins and modules for XenForo, FunPay Cardinal and other platforms. The platforms on this site are examples: name yours in the request.

How much does a plugin cost?

It depends on the task. Describe it in a request and we will send an estimate with the price and timeline of each stage. You only pay for the stage we are about to start.

Didn't find the right solution? We will build it for your task

Tell us in a request what needs to work. We will clarify the details and send an estimate with the price and timeline of each stage.
